ProstatRelax may render you symptom free from BPH.

ProstatRelax Capsules: how to correctly use them for your enlarged prostate!

ProstatRelax Capsules are herbal supplements manufactured by BF Suma as an aphrodisiac and sexual performance enhancer; however, they have shown an unprecedented reduction in the prostate gland size among men with an enlarged one – commonly known as benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH). I have prescribed them to several patients with micturition problems due to BPH-induced bladder outlet obstruction with excellent outcomes. But, with such excitement, several people may buy them and do not get the best out of them – especially those with undiagnosed prostate cancer. Today, we highlight how to use ProstatRelax capsules correctly for your enlarged prostate.

Benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) is the term we use to refer to an enlarged prostate – a condition that affects about 8% of men aged 31 to 40 years and well over 80% of those aged 80 years or more. Most men experience no troubles (symptoms), but those affected report increased urges to urinate, dribbling or leaking urine, and a weak urine stream. Collectively, we term these as lower urinary tract symptoms.

For such men, they require treatment from one or more modalities. Treatments often include medications that relax the prostate and slow the enlargement process. In those that fail on drugs, surgery has always provided excellent results. However, man is always afraid of surgeries. And they aren’t without complications. ProstatRelax confers an exceptional outcome that is a gift from mother nature. Noteworthy, alternative medicine isn’t a curse per se. The trouble emanates from the inability to provide scientific evidence of its uses. And the unstandardised unsupervised manufacturing process, especially in most low- and middle-income countries.

Before we dwell on ProstatRelax, let’s gain a deeper understanding of benign prostate hyperplasia.

The prostate is a walnut-sized gland, a constituent of the male reproductive system. An outer tissue layer covers its several lobes. It wraps around the urethra, the tube that guides urine out of the bladder through the penis.

No evidence has pinpointed a single factor that causes an enlarged prostate. BPH is neither associated with sex frequency nor vasectomy. However, having a history of BPH in the family increases the risk of developing one.

Typically, the symptoms noted above begin as early as 45 years. They progressively worsen over time. They infringe on the sexual drive of the affected men. Were it not for the erectile dysfunction associated with BPH: several men wouldn’t have sought medical care. Without treatment, the affected males retain urine due to progressive urethral obstruction.

We should note that not every male with symptoms of BPH has only that. Several conditions can cause similar troubles, and they are worth mentioning: prostate or bladder cancer, kidney stones, and an overactive bladder. For this observation, any adult male person with trouble urinating must seek medical attention from a qualified health care provider, preferably a urologist, for an outright diagnosis.

Diagnosis involves several check-ups. They include a rectal exam, urinalysis, and blood markers (prostate surface antigen): an ultrasound scan, a cystourethrogram, pyelogram, or cystoscopy, with or without prostate biopsy. The role of such investigations is to rule out the above conditions, especially bladder and prostate cancer that requires specific treatment, without which you are likely to succumb to them.

Herb-induced liver injury, Covid-19, and You: Beware.

Once the health care provider confirms that you have an enlarged prostate, and such enlargement is solely BPH, you should get ProstatRelax. We highly recommend that you decide to either use ProstatRelax capsules or the conventional prostate relaxing medications like prazosin but not both. Why? The aim is to avoid unprecedented drug-herb interactions that may destroy your liver or kidney.

What does ProstatRelax contain? It has an Epimedium extract (Horny Goat Weed, Kawule, in Luganda). Traditionally, the Chinese have used it for centuries to alleviate erectile dysfunction and fertility. You take two capsules three times a day for about a month.

Noteworthy, there are no clinical trials on the efficacy of the herbal supplement. However, the clinicians that have prescribed it have reported excellent outcomes. Never use it without discussions with your health care provider. At least you will have a proper follow-up. When indicated, only buy it at the discretion of a clinician and from trusted outlets.

Stay safe. Avoid self-medication!
